I’m in a dark hall-like place. But the walls are made of granulated stone, riveted with age... Flames, placed in points in the walls, flicker, creating moving shadows everywhere. The fires tint the hall golden-brown.

A small girl clinks forward. Her black ponytail swishes behind her. Many cloaked figures walk beside her, hoods up, with her in the center. Because she is the only one who stands out, I study the girl.

On her ankles are shackles, which force her to shuffle forward as her legs cannot move too far apart from each other. Connected to the shackles are silver chains, which dragged between the girl’s legs along the floor.

No-one between the stone walls speaks. The fires roared as we pass them and there was the feeling of loss in the air. One of the cloaked figures is taller and wears a white or maybe light-grey cloak. This one leads the whole party, setting the pace through the gloomy cavern.

The cavern widens out slightly, though it’s still like a tunnel. The party moves between parts in the floor that have jutting tooth-like rocks. These rocks rise towards the ceiling, with others hang downwards, making the route appear like a great toothed mouth...

I watch the face of the girl, which I can’t read. I can’t tell if she’s sad or fearful. Something about her face is hidden. But she looks pretty. I stare at her fair nose, slender black eyebrows, full lips, and thickly curled black hair. Her arms hang, however, which makes me think she’s defeated.

The air inside the cave is damp, but no light enters this part. Surrounding the girl are at least a dozen cloaked figures. I turn towards the white cloak, who they are all following...the one who never turns back to check, only leads.

The white figure finally reaches a cell, opening it. It contains silver bars, barely wide enough for an arm to squeeze through. The group parts, allowing the girl to pass through them to the cell. Before she reaches the cell, something odd happens, however—

A strange sound is uttered from the girl’s small mouth. It’s so sudden and a burst of wind whips through the cavern toward us.

Suddenly, the girl snaps the chains on her wrists, with a metallic CLANK and FIZZ! Before this, there’s a spark around the wrist restraints. Every figure surrounding her freezes, shoulders hunched up, but the girl moves so quickly that I barely register what happens.

Only the figure in white manages to wipe away the many bursts of white light that the girl fires at each figure, collapsing them. But the girl just laughs as the blocked attack rushes along the ceiling, breaking apart a jutting hanging stone tooth, which shatters as it falls to the ground.

The figure in white freezes as the girl swipes her arm, causing a rush of air along the rocky floor, sweeping the figure onto its back, then firing another burst of light that stills it. The girl quickly mutters more strange rustling words, sparking free the ankle restraints.
